Barcelona Ballooning

Flying over the city of Barcelona with a hot air balloon is not possible because it is forbidden by the authorities. However, we can fly to many other places near the Catalan capital. Just 35 minutes by car, bus or train from Barcelona, we can go ballooning to enjoy spectacular views: the mountains of Montserrat, the plain of Vic, Montseny and even the Pyrenees and the Costa Brava.

Choose the area you want to fly over. The regions closest to Barcelona where we fly are the Vallès Oriental, Osona or Bages regions. So, come to our meeting points in Cardadeu, Vic or Manresa and enjoy a spectacular balloon ride.
Flights start first thing in the morning and last about an hour and a quarter. When we finish we can go to breakfast together in a local restaurant. In any case, the province of Barcelona has many activities to do and tourist places to visit. You can take advantage of the rest of the day to discover fantastic places in central Catalonia and, above all, enjoy its gastronomy.

Ticket Conditions

Confirmation of the date and place will be made by phone, WhatsApp or by email once you have purchased the flight ticket.
All reservations are assigned a reservation code. To make any queries about the flight, you must use this code.
The flight ticket is valid for one year from the date of purchase. It is possible to extend it one more year for the amount of 20 Euros. In case of pregnancy, the expiration period is extended by 9 months free of charge.
The Balloon Ride is transferable! There is the possibility of changing the beneficiary and the flight area, since the tickets are not personalized. Only flight seats are reserved.
If the flight is suspended on the agreed date for reasons beyond the passenger's control (weather forecast, lack of a minimum group, etc.), a new date can be chosen.
The flight date can be changed in agreement with Aircat, up to 7 days before the ballon tour.
The cost of the ticket will not be refunded in case of no-show or delay on the day of the flight.
The tour will be shared with other passengers. The maximum number of people inside the balloon is 10 and the minimum is 6. If you want to book an exclusive flight, do not hesitate to ask us.

WHAT TO BRING?

You must wear appropriate clothing for the time of year you are flying, you must wear comfortable shoes and it is also recommended to wear a cap or hat to protect yourself from the heat of the burner.

What is included in the price?

Includes the balloon trip of more than one hour, a glass of DO Catalunya cava, cookies, a diploma, participation in the preparation of the balloon and ground transportation to and from the meeting point at the place of take-off.

WHAT TIME DOES THE FLIGHT START?

We meet first thing in the morning: in summer at 7am, spring and autumn at 8am and in winter at 9am.
We fly so early because there are the most favorable weather conditions. However, the hours may change depending on the weather of the day

IS IT COLD FLYING WITH THE AIR BALLOON?

Quite the contrary. By having the burner to heat the air in the balloon, it is not cold, but in winter you have to wear your feet warmly because the heat from the burner does not reach them. The balloon does not exceed 3000 meters in height, which is when it would be cold, we only rose to 2000 meters in height.

WHAT IS THE BEST TIME OF THE YEAR TO FLY?

All seasons of the year have their appeal as the landscape changes; in winter, for example, it offers a view of snow-capped mountains and in summer the fields take on many different hues.

HOW DO WE RETURN TO THE PLACE OF DEPARTURE?

An Aircat 4x4 vehicle awaits us at the landing site to take us to the departure point. Before getting in the car, you will collaborate with the fold of the balloon and we will give you the certificates of flight.

CAN WE CHOOSE WHERE TO FLY OVER?

The distance traveled during the defined time and the trajectory is dictated by the intensity and direction of the wind. Therefore, although the pilot can play with the air currents, it is very difficult for us to decide exactly where to fly.
