Conditions of the air ticket:
- You can buy flight tickets online through the website https://aircat.cat, by phone, email or in person at office (see address above)
- Tickets are open and are valid 1 year from the date of purchase. You can choose the date and the flight area in common agreement with AirCat.
- The ticket is transferable. You can change the beneficiary without any problem. We only need to be informed of the name of the passengers and their weight before the flight.
- The flight date can be changed, by mutual agreement with AirCat, up to 7 days before the flight.
- AirCat reserves the right to change the flight date in the event of an unfavorable weather forecast. In this case, a new flight date will be assigned in agreement with the client without any additional expense.
- The cost of the ticket will not be refunded in case of no-show or delay on the day of the flight.

- The Ticket includes:
- Preparation and inflation of the balloon
- Flight balloon which lasts 1 hour to 1 and a half hours
- A toast with cava and a small snack during the flight
- Recovery of the balloon
- The return in 4x4 to the take-off place
- Children under 5 years old and pregnant women cannot fly in a balloon, in case of pregnancy the expiration of the ticket is postponed 9 months free of charge.
Payment and Flight Confirmation:
- Prices are valid until 31 December of 2024, all ticket prices are per person (except for exclusive flights that means balloon)
- The prices published on the web include VAT and accident insurance.
- The payment method can be by credit / debit card, PayPal, Bizum, cash or bank transfer. Payment has to be fully realized the day of purchase and 24 hours before the flight confirmation.
- To confirm your flight, we will contact you 48 hours before the scheduled flight date to confirm availability, the meeting time and that the weather forecasts are favorable for the flight.
TIPS:
Flight cancellation:
- If due to weather conditions adverse to the flight, the pilot decides to cancel the flight, another date for the flight will be rescheduled with the clients at no cost.
- Tickets will not be reimbursed for this reason, except in the case of having agreed with AirCat in the reservation process.
- We do not accept responsibility for costs or expenses related to the cancellation of a flight.
- The ticket will be valid for one year from the date of sale. If you have made 4 unsuccessful attempts due to bad weather conditions during the year of validity, your ticket will be renewed for another year, at no cost to you.
- If you want to renew the ticket for another year (before it expires), the cost is 20 euros per person. If the ticket price has changed, the amount will need to be updated.
*Right of withdrawal
Once the service has been contracted, the Client, if their status is that of a consumer, will have 14 calendar days to withdraw from it. In case of withdrawal, "Aircat" will return to the Client the amount paid within the legally established maximum term and by bank transfer.

They must indicate in the Subject the word withdrawal and the reservation number and in the body of the mail their desire to withdraw from the contracted service.
Security and Responsibility:
1. Boarding policy:
Customers must present a valid flight ticket in paper or digital format delivered by Aircat or the assigned reservation number to be able to board the balloons of our fleet.
As a passenger transport company, we are bound by the conditions of the Warsaw Convention. Our pilots have the final responsibility for each flight and reserve the right to decide for themselves the passengers who can go up in the balloon basket according to their own criteria. A passenger will not be accepted on board in the event that the pilot considers that the passenger may be a danger to himself, to the balloon or to the other passengers.
2. Requirements for a balloon flight:
You cannot fly if you are pregnant or under the influence of alcoholic beverages or drugs.
For safety, the recommended maximum weight per passenger is 100 kg.

As balloon flights are totally weather depended, we cannot guarantee that the flight will follow a particular direction. Our goal is for the balloon to fly for more than one hour , but it is always the pilot who has the final responsibility to decide on the duration and conduct of any flight , as well as the appropriate terrain and time for landing for obvious reasons of passenger safety . Flights are subject to the limitations of the VFR (Visual Flight Rules) defined by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation.
Aircat balloons are registered in the Official Civil Aviation Registry and comply with European safety standards EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency). Ultramàgic SA is the CAMO (Continuous Airworthiness Management Organization ) authorized maintenance center that periodically reviews the status of Aircat Hot Air balloons.
5. Insurance:
Liability insurance is included in the price of the flight for each passenger. The level of coverage is in phase with international agreements related to air transport and the Warsaw Convention. In no case are we responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings carried on board the aircraft (including clothing) or for death or personal injury beyond the level of coverage of our insurance, except when they are the consequences of proven negligence of our personnel.
In the event that you consider that the amount of our insurance coverage could not compensate you for losses, whether due to death, personal injury or damage to your belongings, you would have to take out additional own insurance.
