AEROSTATIC BALLOON PILOT AND INSTRUCTOR
The hot air balloon pilot and manager of Aircat.cat, Josep Lluís Puntí has had more than 3000 hours of balloon flight. Since 1992 he has been flying around the world in Festivals and Expeditions, especially in Europe and Asia. Countries such as India, Burma, Malaysia, Thailand, Dubai, Mexico, the US, Tunisia, Morocco are some of the territories outside of Europe that he has visited by balloon.
He also works as a commercial pilot, both in France, Switzerland and Burma and his licenses as an instructor and aircraft maintenance technician have given him recognition and great experience in the world of tourist flights with passengers.
The pilots who work with Aircat, Tomás, Manuel and Jordi also have between 2000 and 3000 hours of flight with their own experiences around the world.
Aircat's balloons are registered in the Official Civil Aviation Registry and comply with European safety standards EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency), which are reviewed by an authorized CAMO (Continuous Airworthiness Management Organization) maintenance center.
The State Air Safety Agency (AESA) accredits Aircat.cat as an aerial transportation company that has up-to-date insurance for all hot air balloons available to customers.

Our balloons have flown over places as diverse as the plain of Vic, the Costa Brava, the Pyrenees, Montserrat or the volcanic natural park of La Garrotxa. We have even crossed borders, flying through the skies of France, Morocco, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Finland, Zagreb, Slovenia, Germany, Portugal, Mexico, Burma and Colombia.

Despite the bad weather forecast, Pep decided to wait until the last moment to assess whether it was really safe or not to fly ... And thanks to that, we succeeded ... The weather forecast failed and we had a fantastic flight. I think that it is necessary to emphasize the VERY humane treatment of Pep, who at all times facilitated us to "take flight" without neglecting, NEVER, our safety. We knew that due to the weather forecast we should perhaps cancel the flight but finally the weather respected us and gave us this beautiful moment.
Without a doubt, if we decide to fly again, it will be with Aircat.
